Over the past weekend, Maxx Media opened its doors to Invest Expo, the first exhibition in Sabah to showcase investment products from all corners of the industry. The event was held at Likas Sports Complex here in Kota Kinabalu and featured over 30 exhibitors, as well as Master Talk sessions by 14 industry professionals.

On behalf of Maxx Media, Victor Yong, Director of Maxx Media shared this statement on the event.

“When we first started designing the concept for Invest Expo, we really wanted the event to cater towards local Sabahans who were either experienced investors or even beginners who know nothing at all. Our aim was to stir up interest in the industry and shed light onto areas of investment that could use the exposure.”

“Post the event we conducted a visitor survey which revealed that the majority of the visitors were aged between 26 to 45 years old with an average monthly income of RM5000 which was our target audience in hopes to boost activity in our local investment economy.”

Within the survey, visitors voiced that they attended Invest Expo to learn more about the wide variety of investment products that were showcased and to receive consultation services all under one roof. Investments were made by visitors on property, unit trust and stocks.

The Master Talks also attracted visitors as typically outside of the event these sessions would cost hundreds, if not thousands and at Invest Expo, visitors had the chance to attend these insightful talks by professionals for free!

Learning how, what and when to invest were just some of the topics discussed during the Master Talks. The Q&A’s after the Master Talks also gave visitors the opportunity to really delve into the minds of these investment experts throughout the day.

Additionally, packs of free coupons were distributed to all visitors during the 3-day event and were entered into daily lucky drawers.
