Top Malaysian comedian, Harith Iskander, will head a cast of entertainers at the SHAREDA Nite, which is set to take place on 25 August in Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort.

Iskander, the winner of the 2016 Laugh Factory's Funniest Person in the World, will take the stage with Ms Lim Wen Suen (winner of The Voice Singapore and Malaysia 2017), Ms Esther Applunius (One In A Million 2008 runner-up), DJ Uno Pop Shuvit and dancers of the Dance Art Academy.

More than 1,000 guests and members are expected at the event where Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd. Shafie Apdal has been invited as the Guest of Honour.

SHAREDA will also take the opportunity to recognise the outstanding achievements amongst its members during the night in a special "SHAREDA Excellence Awards 2018” ceremony. The award-giving ceremony will be the 3rd in its series and a milestone in SHAREDA's calendar this year. It will recognise the top quality developers across 5 categories; Innovative Architectural Design Commercial Complex, High Rise Residential, Township Property Development, Sustainable and Liveable Concept Developer and Property Man of the Year.

"The organising committee is focused on making this year's dinner a memorable one as it marks a major milestone in the history of the association for the past 4 decades since 1978" said Johnny Wong, SHAREDA's Vice President and SHAREDA Nite 2018's organising chairman at a press conference with members of the media.

Johnny also shared that under SHAREDA's flag, the W Group, is also involved in development projects in Australia, United Kingdom and China.

SHAREDA will air a video documentary on the transformation and development of towns and municipalities in Sabah over the years during SHAREDA Nite.

"We have come a long way and for our anniversary, we would like to show our guests how the real estate industry has contributed to the development and transformation of our beloved State" said Johnny.

Meanwhile, Johnny also took the opportunity to announce that SHAREDA's annual PropEX 2018 will be held at the Sabah Trade Centre on 19-21 October. The 3-day event, themed 'Smart Green State' will see talks conducted in a hologram.

The event will highlight several interesting attractions such as the 600sqft Urban Farm, KK Master Plan Model, 3D printing and real-time virtual reality, a new marketing gadget tool to view properties that are currently under construction.
