SHAREDA is proud to host the annual PropEX event (2022), a 4-day exhibition from the 15th of September to 18th of September at SICC, Kinabatangan Room I and  II, Level 2 which connects customers to property developers, product specialists and exhibitors. During the event, SHAREDA also contacted multiple reputable parties to provide free training and share their experiences throughout their extensive tenure in the property development field and its related sectors. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic and amidst skyrocketing prices of construction materials, the building industry in Sabah has continued its relentless push toward the completion of its promised projects. 

SHAREDA President, Datuk Chua Soon Ping stated that in conjunction with the 42nd Anniversary of SHAREDA, on the 18th of September the much anticipated SHAREDA Nite 2022 will be held at SICC, Sipadan Room I-II, Level 4, Kota Kinabalu.  It is a celebration of excellence in the building industry which will feature the esteemed Guest of Honour, Yang Amat Berhormat Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor, Chief Minister of Sabah; and Yang Berhormat Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Masidi bin Manjun, State Minister of  Local Government and Housing. There will be awards of excellence for multiple aspects of property development, and for the building industry in general, as well as most creative and innovative designs and innovations throughout the building industry. 

There will be international vendors and projects attending both PropEX 2022 and SHAREDA  Nite 2022. 

The local market favours landed property because the appreciation rate is much higher than a high rise,  but in terms of short-term gains, Return on Investment (ROI) rates for high-rise properties have produced better results compared to their landed counterparts. 

According to the organising chairman of PropEX 2022, Mr Roland Ling, from a total of 95 available booths, of which 95% have been accounted for, the PropEX 2022 Awards consist of the best model house award,  best marketing tools award, best booth design award and best tech-savvy booth award. 

Asides from local developers, also peninsular and overseas developers, ranging from within  Malaysia to Australia and the United Kingdom. Attractive lucky draws are to be won throughout the  4-day event, with prizes made up of tickets to the exclusive performance and paid accommodation in luxurious holiday destinations.  

Additional training for underprivileged students to prepare for their future related careers will also be held by KKIP Aerospace, under a mutual understanding agreement with SHAREDA.  There will also be product talks conducted on the third day of the event, with guest speakers from Peninsular Malaysia and International Architects who have contributed significantly to their respective industries.

SHAREDA Nite 2022 organising chairman, Mr Wesley Chai mentioned that throughout the event, SHAREDA will be bestowing  Excellence Awards to well-deserved builders and property developers. Asides from excellence awards, there will be lucky draw prizes to be given out during the event, with the apex of prizes being an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and runner-up gifts including digital devices.
