Once again, Remajaya Sdn Bhd is honoured for its green achievement as they have been awarded the Provisional GreenRE certification under the non-residential category for their Bay Suites project.

The GreenRE certification is an award fully recognized by ministries such as the Malaysian Green Technology Corporation(MGTC) and Malaysian Investment Development Authority(MIDA) and goes according to the standards and certification process that are in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and World Green Building Council. 

Receivers of the certificate are eligible for tax incentives by IRDA and investment tax allowances (ITA) under MIDA.

With less than 15 minutes from nearing medical centres such as Damai Specialist Hospital, Jesselton Medical Centre Sdn. Bhd, Klinik Kesihatan Likas, Klinik Desa Likas and Hospital Likas, Bay Suites is a high-end mixed development situated in the heart of Likas Bay.

Bay Suites is a project by Remajaya Sdn Bhd under the leadership of managing director Datuk Sr. Chua Soon Ping. 

Datuk Chua expressed his delight upon receiving the award,

"We are pleased to inform you that Remajaya has achieved another milestone for being awarded the Silver GreenRE under the non-residential category for Bay Suites. It was not an easy task, especially since it was under construction during the pandemic period."

Previously, he had earned the award for Most Prestigious Eco-Development in East Malaysia for the Bay 21 project at the Malaysian Reserve Property Press Awards 2014 (MRPPA).

In 2019, Datuk Chua was also awarded as the winner of green achievement at Property Hunter Real Estate Awards(PHEA).
