Suria Sabah Shopping Mall will be celebrating its 10th anniversary with many exciting activities and its first 8.8 monthly sale will begin on Aug 7-9, 2020. In conjunction with the 10th anniversary, Suria Sabah is collaborating with Property Hunter for an online photo contest. The public is highly encouraged to join by sharing their happy moments at Suria Sabah as attractive prizes await for the winners.

Suria Sabah General Manager Tan King Way said they will continue to strive and improve to serve their shoppers better. They are also looking forward to welcoming shoppers to shop in Suria Sabah while staying safe by adhering to the SOP. 

“We wish the Festival could benefit both shoppers with great deals and freebies at the same time boosting sales for participating stores during this challenging time. We are also giving out free limited edition merchandise to commemorate Suria Sabah's 10th Anniversary for shoppers to collect with their purchase. Each 8.8, 9.9 and 10.10 Festival offers different products for shoppers to redeem," he said.

The 8.8 (Aug), 9.9 (Sept) and 10.10 (Oct) monthly sales are the first big sales organized by Suria Sabah to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The first round of the 8.8 3-days sales happening on Aug 7-9 will have more than 40 participating outlets offering bargains and discounts up to 77%. Shoppers get to enjoy freebies and merchandise with a purchase of any participating products or services as advertised in the 8.8 Festival e-catalogue published on Suria Sabah’s Facebook and Instagram page. Freebies include Karamell Almondo ice cream, myEureka gourmet popcorn, limited edition Suria Sabah 10th Anniversary commemorative A4 pocket file and many more during the event.  

Suria Sabah rolled their first 10th Anniversary campaign in Dec 2019. Suria Sabah x Jumanji: The Next Level had a Jumanji themed photo opportunity at the main entrance and offered an exclusive movie merchandise redemption for shoppers. In continuation to the celebration, Suria Sabah launched a Cash Lucky Draw campaign until Dec 20 with a grand cash prize of RM88,888. Among other draws are RM6,888 Special Draws and up to RM3,000 Bi-Weekly Draws. Shoppers get to enjoy special prices, discounts up to 50%, bundle offers and free gifts during the campaign. The free 3 hours parking is still ongoing until further notice.

In addition to that, the public can stand a chance to win attractive prizes with the online photo contest. Participants may submit their photos taken in Suria Sabah with captions via email to suriasabah10@gmail.com by Sept 8. Public photo voting will take place from Sept 9-22, winners announcement on Oct 2 followed by photo contest award ceremony on Oct 10. Selected entries will have a chance to be exhibited during the 10.10 FESTIVAL.
