The Home Ownership Campaign Expo 2019 that was held over the weekend from 1 to 3 March 2019 at Dewan Foo Chow, Penampang has ended triumphantly. The expo was co-organised by the Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) and Property Hunter.

More than 4,000 potential property buyers visited Dewan Foo Chow over the weekend and became property owners being sold over the expo period with more deals expected to be finalised in the coming days. This 2019 expo marks the return of the market's confidence as it was a 676% increase in terms of property units sold compared to the previous expo in 2018.

Elson Kho, Director at Property Hunter said, "The success of this expo shows that there is still very high demand for properties in the market," adding that the government's initiative is being well-received by the public.

The expo coincides with the National Home Ownership Campaign 2019, a move to encourage home purchase with perks like stamp duty exemptions and 10% discounts from developers.

Property Hunter has since received positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors regarding the expo. An exhibitor commented on how the location is strategic for visitors, located near to residential areas and is easily accessible. Exhibitors also think that the hall size is just nice and most visitors are very keen on hearing and seeing what each project has to offer.

Congratulating Property Hunter on their endeavour, Asia Plantation Capital expressed their satisfaction at the amount of exposure and potential sales that they garnered at the expo.
