BMW Group Malaysia has appointed Regas Premium Sabah as its newest dealer representative for the brands BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad in the state of Sabah.
Harald Hoelzl, managing director and CEO of BMW Group Malaysia said East Malaysia has long been a contributing market to the brand's growth in Malaysia. "We are excited to have Regas Premium Sabah on board as our new dealer in Kota Kinabalu to continue growing our presence in the State of Sabah.â€
Hoelzl added that the State of Sabah currently contributes over 500 vehicles to the premium segment in the country annually and has the potential to double over the next five years. He said last year, the company experienced an 18% growth in deliveries in Sabah in comparison to 2016 "which really demonstrates the potential in the stateâ€.

Regas Premium Sabah is a joint venture between TM Vision Auto Services, a subsidiary of Tan Brothers Machinery Company (TBMC) group of companies and Regas Premium Auto. Regas Premium Auto is the authorised dealer representative for the brands BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad in the state of Sarawak. Regas Premium Auto was also appointed as the authorised service dealership for BMW-i in 2016 in the state, and last year established the first-ever BMW-i public charging facilities in East Malaysia at CityOne Megamall Kuching.
Regas Premium Sabah will be taking over FM Autohaus as BMW Group Malaysia's new dealership in Kota Kinabalu and will operate in the existing 53,500 sq ft facility located in the prime area along Jalan Penampang, offering the full suite of Sales, Services, Spare Parts and Systems (4S) for the brands BMW and BMW Motorrad, as well as service facilities for the brands BMW-i and MINI.
TBMC made its maiden entry into the property development industry in grand fashion with the launch of T1@Bundusan (Kota Kinabalu) and T2@Apas (Tawau).
T1@Bundusan comprises of 12 four-storey blocks of commercial shop office, 12 units of dual-volume sky F&B outlets on level 5, a six-storey boutique hotel and a single-storey basement car park which sits on just 1.94 acres of land along Jalan Bundusan.
T2 @ Apas comprises of 44 lots of 4-storey commercial shop office which sits on the 7.8 acres of premier land along the main protocol road, Jalan Apas. The project is expected to be completed by 2021.
TBMC launched the "Developer Rental Bearing Scheme" (DRBS) - the first of its kind in Sabah during its two property launchings - where prospective tenants to the project would enjoy a 6 months rental subsidy borne by the developer.
