Datuk Susan Wong Siew Guen, honoured as the Top Property Woman of the Year at the SHAREDA Excellence Awards 2023 (Platinum), champions the ethos of constructing quality yet affordable homes. Delighted to witness residents thriving in the townships she develops, Susan considers property development not just a profession but a personal hobby and interest that has evolved over her 40-year journey.

Speaking at the SHAREDA Nite 2023 event at the Magellan Sutera Harbour Resort last Friday (3rd Nov), Susan emphasized her commitment to creating residences with high standards, accessible to a diverse population. She highlighted the importance of well-planned locations, drawing from her experience as the former President of SHAREDA, where she served from 2009 - 2013.

Susan's company, WSG Group, also secured the SHAREDA Excellence Awards 2023 (Gold) in the Excellence in Township Property Development category for their Benoni project. Inspired by her mother's hometown, Susan incorporated a cinema into the Benoni New Township development, which is set to be officiated on December 10. Susan also revealed plans to expand her endeavors to Tuaran, envisioning another township development with affordable housing, cinemas, McDonald's outlets, supermarkets, and more.
