Tonight The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world will launch a new LAND sale allowing purchasers to claim their spots near the LANDs of multiple Hong Kong partners. The partners of various sectors, including real estate tycoons, the entertainment industry and more are joining forces to create Mega City, a new cultural hub in the metaverse.

The metaverse on The Sandbox is a vast digital space where users can monetize their assets and create their world virtual worlds and gaming experiences. 

In tonight's sale, the Hong Kong partners who will be acquiring LAND to build Mega City will be a cultural hub based on the soul and talent of Hong Kong, featuring the city's actors, movies, real estate and major gaming figures. It is set to have a unique Hong Kong visual approach and be a place of "dreams and fun", according to Animoca Brands.

In the partnership include the Hong Kong real estate tycoon and entrepreneur, Adrian Chang, alternative investing leader Sun Hung Kai & Co, professional services firm PwC Hong Kong, blockchain-related investment and asset management company TIMES CAPITAL, director/producer/actor Stephen Fung, international star Shu Qi,  renowned musician Dough-Boy, game IP Little Fighter, and local illustrator Dreamergo.

Users will be allowed to purchase LAND located near to the Mega City projects today during the Mega City LAND on The Sandbox. The partner's estates can be seen on The Sandbox virtual world map here.

Premium LAND located near the partners will be offered, and each will include exclusive premium NFTs and have the possibility to host events, gaming experiences, or social hubs. 

The Sandbox has already sold 70% of its 166,464 LAND NFTs, releasing them in successive waves that usually sell out in seconds.
