The Tanjung Aru Eco Development(TAED) will be given a new breath of life with a new concept and approach into becoming a mixed development made up of residential and commercial areas, hotels and resorts along with public parks and recreational facilities. 

According to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, this project is aimed to be a world class tourism destination in Sabah offering an electrifying lifestyle in Kota Kinabalu worth billions of ringgit. 

As the perseverance of Tanjung Aru’s natural beauty, the minister stated the TAED project will involve the development of the beach.

Furthermore, the notable Prince Philip will also be retained while the expansion of the beach will go in unison with the development of the TAED project.

Hajiji added the TAED development will create more job and business opportunities for locals as the involvement of small and medium businesses will be prioritized particularly those in the hotel and tourism sector as it will emphasize the international standard of service quality.

He expressed that many investors are looking forward to seeing what this project has in store.

Hajiji hopes that TAED will be a representation of sustainable development and good environmental management to set a benchmark for future real estate developments and urban development in Sabah.
