Plaza Shell organised a memorable, fun-filled Christmas themed event called ‘The Spirit of Giving at Plaza Shell' over the weekend.

In line with the theme, Plaza Shell ran a charity donation drive where donations in goods & kind were donated on December 9, 2017, to Jireh Home, a home for underprivileged children located in Tuaran.

The event was held to create awareness as well as attract customers to Plaza Shell.

Items sponsored for Jireh Home included a TV set, a computer set, a cooking stove, a blender, cash vouchers, 2-door fridge, whiteboards and an electric oven and sponsors for these were Ms. Joanne Wendy Chung from Hap Seng, Hap Seng Properties Development, Enfee Liew, Sean Thomas & Phillip Hiew (Honda staff), Ms. Diana (Shell tenant) and MSIG Insurance.

Over 30 various Christmas stalls were set-up offering goods such as Christmas cakes, pastries, clothes, jewellery, pottery and many more Christmas themed gift items.

To make the event more meaningful, the children of Jireh Home also sang acoustic carols on stage to the surprise of the audience.

Over 23 brave children got the opportunity to show their talents and creativity from singing, dancing, acting, etc in Plaza Shell's Star Search. Performances included magic shows, belly-dancing, playing percussions and more. The winning title was won by Ms. Kathrine Kou who walked away with RM800.00 cash, trophy and other prizes. All talents received TSUM TSUM goodie bags and more.

The Christmas event saw sponsors from MSIG Insurance, Sugarbun, New Gaya Seafood, CHUBS Grill, Pregio Cafe, Gateau House, Beauty Connection, Bread Market Patisserie, Eat n Chat, SSF, Laundry Spa by Le Meridien, South Memory and Urban & Co.
