Am Pm Mart Opens in Kolombong

As part of Homesign Network Sdn Bhd's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company built a wet market in Kolombong. The opening ceremony lasted for 3 days from 24th to 26th January and saw a joyous Chinese New Year bazaar.


Mayor Datuk Yeo Boon Hai visited the wet market on Wednesday, showing his support for CSR projects as such, saying that it can help support the local community to start small businesses. He also added that the market can come with better facilities such as chairs for people to sit and rest whilst doing their shopping.

The aim of the Am Pm mart is to help local SME earn profit and to support the low cost of starting a stall.

The market will be open from 5am till 8pm every day, starting from 1st February and will be managed by Goodmove Sdn Bhd.

The market comprises of 334 stalls across three blocks and over 600 parking bays. Block A of the market will feature handicrafts, Block B vegetables (mainly from Ranau) and Block C fruits, meat and fish.

Visitors were treated to lucky draws and choi san ye giving angpao (Chinese red envelope) as part of the Chinese New Year celebration.
