The PropNex Monopoly Championship, a specially tailored version of the classic board game, was executed with tremendous success, offering an engaging and educational experience to all participants. This year's event garnered an impressive turnout, with thousands of enthusiastic participants and an astounding 600 individuals joining Round 2, marking a remarkable achievement in promoting financial literacy and property investment knowledge.

Evon Heng, OC of Monopoly Championship and also Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PropNex Malaysia, wishes to express profound gratitude to all the esteemed sponsors, dedicated players, valued business partners, and bankers. "We are thrilled with the overwhelming participation and the generous support we received from all parties," says Evon Heng, expressing gratitude on behalf of PropNex Malaysia.

The event, which aimed to combine entertainment and education, achieved its objectives of teaching participants about cash flow management and asset management through the mechanics of the renowned Monopoly game. In addition to fostering financial literacy, the championship provided a rich learning experience, equipping attendees with essential financial knowledge in an engaging and interactive manner. The championship culminated with the top 10 finalists, which started with the preliminary rounds nationwide in August and Sept respectively. The Monopoly Round 1 winners indeed showcased their strategic prowess and went on to compete for the title of Grand Champion. It kick-started with The Quarter Finals that took place on the 7th October, followed by the Semi-Finals and Finals on 8th October at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.The top 4 winners were, 3rd Runner Up - Aiden Chia,  2nd Runner Up - Ken Loo, 1st Runner Up - Tommy Tan, Winner Champion - Leonard Lai who walked away with RM28,888 in cash and also a VanillaCrepe franchise worth RM130,000.
