Maybank introduced Maybank Home2u on its MAE application, the first virtual housing financing solution in Malaysia through its MAE application, and lets you get approval within 10 seconds.

The bank stated that the digital home financing solution is expected to contribute more than 20 percent to total home financing approvals in the next 12 months.

Maybank Community Financial Services Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk John Chong said the app was part of the bank's efforts to address key issues among its customers, including receiving immediate eligibility results for new dreamed homeownership and suggestions on alternative options based on their financial capabilities.

Maybank Home2u was launched at the ideal moment, according to Chong, since the entire economic recovery had restored customer confidence in spending.

Prospective homeowners, including first-time house buyers and property investors, may use the solution to go through the entire process online, from application to approval to signing the Letter of Offer (LO), all without having to visit a branch.

Buyers may select their desired home directly from the app from a range of landed and multi-storey residential properties from well-known housing developers such as EcoWorld, IJM Land, Sime Darby Property, and S P Setia.
