Boustead Properties Gives Aid to Johor Flood Victims

Property developer, Boustead Properties Berhad (“Boustead Properties” or “Company”), a member of Boustead Group, has responded to the plight of thousands in Johor who were impacted by the recent floods. Together with its subsidiary Mutiara Rini Sdn Bhd, the Company donated RM20,000 in aid of the victims, through the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS).

The contribution was presented to Dato’ Rashidi Md Nor, Deputy Chairman, National Committee for Community Services & Health, MRCS, in Johor, which will be used to purchase food and other essentials. Boustead Properties Acting Chief Executive Officer, Izaddeen Daud said, “We are saddened by the loss of lives and plight of flood victims who have lost their homes to the floods. We hope our support for the relief operations will help lighten the victims’ burdens and help them get through these trying times.”

“We would also like to commend MRCS and the authorities for their tremendous relief efforts and selfless dedication in providing much-needed aid at a time when the country continues to deal with pandemic-related health concerns,” Izaddeen added.

“MRCS would like to record our heartfelt thanks to Boustead Properties for coming forward to donate to the flood victims here in Johor. We look forward to more corporate players to join in this concerted effort to extend assistance to the flood victims in rebuilding their lives,” said Dato’ Rashidi.
