Developers who settle their land premiums within 21 days of the date of receipt of their land development approval notice will get a 25 per cent discount from the Negeri Sembilan government.

Those who settle their premiums within 60 days will receive a 15 per cent discount, according to Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun. The discount will be direct and will not have to be appealed.

"After the approval is given and within 21 days or 60 days if they settle the premium, they will be able to receive a direct discount and will not have to appeal,” he said after chairing the state executive council meeting, yesterday.

Furthermore, Aminuddin said the state government had lowered the property ceiling price for foreigners to RM600,000 and above for strata dwellings, RM1 million and above for strata landed homes; and RM1 million and above for landed residences (only for expatriates).
