A Sabah-based property developer VTS Group, has launched its new commercial project, Sutera Bay@ Sadong Jaya here on Sunday.

Its Executive Chairman Dato’ Tony Wong said the 15-storey commercial suites comprise  283 units and a car park podium which is sited in the heart of the State Capital here.

He said construction work on the site started this month and is due for completion in four years. 

“There are two types of commercial suites namely flexi-suite and dual-keys suite while the retail outlets are available on the ground and first floor on the fifth floor.

“Sutera Bay@Sadong Jaya is to be an extension of Kota Kinabalu Centre Business District (CBD) which is in the same location as Ming Garden Hotel, Sky Hotel, Oriental Hotel, Riverson, KK Times Square and Imago.

“The location of the project is well integrated to Kota Kinabalu’s most popular tourist attractions such as Gaya Street, Kota Kinabalu waterfront, Suria Sabah, Jesselton Mall and only a 15-minute drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA),” he said.

Speaking to reporters after launching  the new project, Tony said Sutera Bay@Sadong Jaya offers hotel concept lifestyle that suits both working class professionals and international visitors.

He said its flexible design and layout are suitable for commercial services such as advertised in Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda, and Trivago, among others which makes it a great investment and high return on income.

He said the facilities included 24-hour lobby reception for ease of check-in and check-out, swimming pool and hanging lagoon, digital mail box near the lobby, a bistro, 24-hour security and CCTV surveillance and high speed internet.
