Tourism Malaysia has launched a new breathtaking Visit Malaysia 2020 (VM2020) campaign website that will make any Malaysian proud to call this beautiful country home.

Featuring various stunning visuals and videos of iconic local attractions, the website is a digital initiative to portray Malaysia as one of the top destinations to visit in 2020.

Visitors to the site are immediately greeted by some spectacular sceneries such as the hilly terrains of Kundasang (Sabah), historically vibrant city of Melaka, majestic Islamic architecture of Astaka Morocco (Putrajaya) and pristine ocean of Tulai Island (Pahang).

Its oh-so-pretty aesthetics aside, the website contains a treasure trove of information on the country's numerous tourist attractions.

These include recommended destinations, ‘must-try’ meals, travel itineraries and things to do.

Travellers can get to know more about Malaysia through informative articles categorised into adventure, wildlife, nature, islands and beaches, waterfalls, caves and forests, food, and family, among others.

"With an enhanced digital experience and experiential content, we hope to entice more international and local tourists to visit the various destinations in our country, in support of Visit Malaysia 2020," said Tourism Malaysia director-general Datuk Musa Yusof.

The social media savvy ones would be happy to know that their travel photos and videos stand a chance of being featured on the Insta Worthy section.
