Builtech Acres Sdn Bhd (a member of JOLAND Group of Companies) today announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with SELGATE Healthcare Sdn Bhd, (a subsidiary of SELGATE Corporation Sdn Bhd) to develop a private hospital in Sepang, Selangor. This important event is a symbol of mutual understanding between both Builtech Acres and SELGATE Healthcare to continue working on an amicable platform to a definitive agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Builtech Acres will construct a 180-bed private hospital on a parcel of freehold land held under Geran No. Hakmilik 96500, Lot 5244, Mukim Labu, Daerah Sepang, Negeri Selangor measuring approximately 2.861 hectares under the build- and-lease concept. Parties will enter into a 15-year ground lease to operate a private hospital known as “SELGATE Sepang Hospital”.

At the press conference, Mr. Noor Hisham Mohd Ghouth, Group CEO of SELGATE Corporation Sdn Bhd cum Director of SELGATE Healthcare Sdn Bhd said: “We are excited to have crossed yet another milestone. SELGATE Healthcare is now closer to realising its aspiration to be a major player in private healthcare.”

Dato’ Sri Godwin Tan Pei Poh, Executive Director of JOLAND Group which oversees the planning, financing and construction of the hospital said: “SELGATE Sepang Hospital is expected to begin construction in 2020 and to be completed in 2023.”
