Leading Malaysian property development company S P Setia Bhd has conferred a Top 10 Developer Award at the BCI Asia Awards 2019 (BCIAA) ceremony in Singapore.

S P Setia International (S) Pte Ltd general manager Neo Keng Hoe received the award by BCI Media Group founder and chief executive officer Dr Matthias Krups.

Neo described the win as a significant accomplishment as S P Setia was the only Malaysian company to be recognised this year.

"We will continue to strive in our efforts to be recognised as an international brand synonymous with quality, innovation and value creation," he said.

"Winning developers are also recognised for their efforts in shaping the built environment of the future and their projects' impact on the environment and socially.

"Receiving this award calls for another celebration as S P Setia has just returned from the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence 2019 award ceremony in Moscow after receiving a World Gold Award for Setia SPICE in Penang in the Purpose-Built category, and two World Silver Awards for Parque Melbourne in the Residential High-Rise category and Circus West Village at Battersea Power Station, London in the Residential Mid-Rise category.

"We will use these achievements to continuously motivate ourselves 'to be the best in all we do', as is our vision."

Neo added that S P Setia had not only evolved to be Malaysia's dominant property developer, but has also carved a strong presence internationally in Vietnam, Australia, Singapore, China, the UK and Japan.

"Locally, we have an extensive reach across the three key economic regions, namely Klang Valley, Johor Baru, Penang and Kota Kinabalu."
