Penangites to Make the Right #HOMEDECisions, Inspired by HOMEDEC

The Home Design and Interior Exhibition (HOMEDEC), which kicks off its 17th year in Penang from today to Sunday (14 April) at Setia SPICE Convention Centre, aims to be part of every smart homeowner’s journey, guiding them on ways to utilise their space without compromising on value and quality.

Growing and evolving over the years with Malaysian homeowners, this edition of HOMEDEC — the brainchild of award-winning event organiser C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd (C.I.S) — hones in on the rising trend of holiday homes and short stay rentals through its HOMEDEC Showhome: Short Stays. The Showhome features products sourced exclusively from HOMEDEC and designed by Felicio Kitchen & Wardrobe Specialist and MRC Constructions Sdn Bhd.

The pioneering exhibition also offers Penangites unrivalled bargains from reputable dealers, with up to 80% discounts from over 40 brands for their homes. Apart from the exciting life-sized Showhome, and dialogues and workshops from industry experts, HOMEDEC Penang also offers its expected 29,000 visitors exceptional advice, knowledge and tips for smarter living and the latest know-hows on quality home designs, furniture and appliances from 160 exhibitors taking up 420 booths.

HOMEDEC Penang visitors also stand a chance to win Nature’s Rest Treez queen size mattresses worth RM3,199 each. With three units to be given throughout the show, visitors can look forward to daily winner announcements. Visitors who use Fave Pay with participating exhibitors will enjoy up to 10% cash back rebates and the top spender will win Xiaomi branded home products, which include an air purifier, digital scale, and a smart rice cooker.

In addition, visitors who spend RM150 above in a single receipt are entitled to participate in the HOMEDEC Catch to Win Online Contest. Winners selected based on the final score achieved and completed a description of HOMEDEC in five words will stand a chance to win attractive prizes courtesy of Coway (M) Sdn Bhd, Nature Himmel Marketing, NSB Lighting Sdn Bhd, Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd and ServisHero.

Leading the industry with influential advice to guide visitors with smart #HOMEDECisions, HOMEDEC provides a one-stop centre where visitors can speak with experts who can guide them every step of the way on their journey as a homeowner, and at the same time, also source for the best deals in appliances, products, furniture, and services to create their dream home, right from renovation and design and up to furnishings, fixtures and personal finishing touches.

HOMEDEC — encompassing the signature HOMEDEC exhibition and online platform, HOMEDECshop — is a trusted home-grown brand conceived by Malaysian experts and enthusiasts of home décor for Malaysian homeowners to stay current with the latest quality interior designs to renovations, products and services for any type of residence, every time of the day.

This edition of HOMEDEC will run from 12-14 April at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang. For more information and updates, visit their website.
