A 325m tall skyscraper poised to be among the five tallest buildings in Kuala Lumpur was recently launched in Bukit Bintang.

Dubbed IBN Bukit Bintang, the property development project is an initiative partnership between IBN Corp Ltd and KKH Pavilion Development Sdn Bhd that carries a gross development value of RM1.5 billion.

Located in the heart of the city of Kuala Lumpur, this mixed-use development will comprise luxurious residential units and a hotel managed by professional staffs to provide world-class guest services.

Its strategic location being minutes away from the iconic Petronas Twin Towers boasts excellent accessibility to a myriad of surrounding facilities and amenities.

The 68-storey building has a total built-up area of 730,062 sq.ft. and a total building height of 325m with each storey boasting floor heights of 3.5m and above. It is reported that IBN's residential units are priced from RM2,000psf.

The groundbreaking ceremony was graced by the Chairman of Shenzhen ZRPZ Group, Mr Chen Guohui, Executive Director of IBN Corp Ltd, Dato' Seri Michael Yang and the Managing Director of KKH Pavilion Development Sdn Bhd, Dato' Sri Kok Kuan Hwa.

Chen said that the development of IBN Bukit Bintang is in tandem with economic globalisation and fast-growing economies of countries in South East Asia, particularly in Malaysia and the commencement of this new property development project is slated in the first quarter of 2019.

"Malaysia is a developing country that offers a lot of technology, property and capital investment opportunities. As such, the country has seen a surge in Foreign Direct Investment in recent years. This results in an increase in housing demand in its capital city - Kuala Lumpur.
