LBS Recognised at the Edge Billion Ringgit Club Awards 2018

Leading township developer LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS) ends the year on a high note by clinching the 'Highest Returns to Shareholders Over Three Years' in the Property Sector award, for a company below RM3 billion market capitalisation, at The Edge Billion Ringgit Club 2018.

The award was presented to Dato' Alan Chia, LBS Bina Group Berhad Executive Director by Dr Claus Weidner, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The 'Highest Returns to Shareholders' award recognises the total shareholder return of Bursa-listed property company over a three-year period.

The challenging property market conditions have not hindered LBS from delivering consistent financial performances and steady returns to shareholders. The developer has consistently rewarded its shareholders and has declared regular and special dividends over the past financial years.

LBS Bina Group Managing Director, Tan Sri Lim Hock San, said, "It is a great honour to receive this award. It is another proud achievement and a testament of our continued efforts in growing our business and improving performances, which allows us to deliver exceptional shareholder value. We are very grateful to our shareholders for their continued support and confidence in LBS."

"As an innovative township developer, LBS has been embracing changing market demands by designing and constructing developments aimed at improving the quality of homeowners' lives, while diversifying into new portfolios to drive growth. This allows us to realise the underlying potential of the Group which maximises shareholders' value in the long run," Tan Sri Lim Hock San added.

To date, LBS has launched a total of RM 1.2 billion worth of properties including the recent launched Kita @ Cybersouth which has contributed positively to the Group's financial performance. The Group looks forward to an uptrend growth supported by a current landbank of 3,918 acres as at 15 November 2018.

The Edge Billion Ringgit Club (BRC) was started in 2010 to recognise Malaysia's best-performing companies. Organised by The Edge Media Group, BRC celebrates Corporate Malaysia's crème de la crème and top responsible organisations.
