Several routes will be temporarily closed to make way for the State-level National Day celebration at Jalan Tun Fuad from 5am to noon on Aug 31.

A statement from City Hall Saturday stated that from Aug 20 to Aug 26, Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen will be temporarily closed in conjunction with preparations for the big day.

From Aug 27 to Aug 29, the stretch will again be temporarily closed from 5am to noon to make way for the rehearsal.

During this period, Jalan Tun Fuad will be fully closed while the right lane along the stretch of Imago Shopping Mall, KK Times Square and Gleneagles will also be closed.

Also within this period, the stretch along Jalan Kemajuan, Jalan Coastal, Jalan Utama Sutera Harbour, Jalan Dua Puluh heading towards Centre Point and the Millenium Roundabout at Jalan Kemajuan will be periodically closed during the rehearsal time.

On Aug 31 itself, Jalan Tun Fuad will be fully closed while the right lane along the stretch of Imago Shopping Mall, KK Times Square and Gleneagles will also be closed from 5am to noon.

Also within this period, the stretch along Jalan Kemajuan, Jalan Coastal, Jalan Utama Sutera Harbour, Jalan Dua Puluh heading towards Centre Point and the Millenium Roundabout at Jalan Kemajuan will be periodically closed during the rehearsal time.

Road users are advised to comply with the instructions of enforcement teams.
