Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd's (MAHB) retail arm, Eraman Malaysia will welcome several more renowned international brands to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA).

Its Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, Raja Azmi Raja Nazuddin said the brands such as La Mer, Tom Ford, Jo Malone and M.A.C would be available at KKIA by the third quarter of this year.

"We will continue to foster close relationship with our brand principals in promotional efforts to ensure that we carry the latest products and brands, particularly those that are in demand and trending to cater to all shoppers" he said at the Eraman Shopping Extravaganza Buy & Win Contest (April-May 2018) Price Giving Ceremony on Tuesday, 14 August.

His speech was read by MAHB Senior General Manager, Commercial Services Nazli Aziz.

Raja Azmi said the contest, which garnered more than 400,000 entries, mainly from Malaysia, India, Indonesia and China, helped contribute Eraman's positive revenue growth.

"As airport shopping is an integral part of the journey for travellers, promotions and campaigns such as these become one of our key sales drivers.

"We want to ensure that shopping at Eraman and the many retail products offered is one of the key motivations for travellers as they pass through Malaysia Airports" he added.

In addition, he said Gucci, M.A.C and Jo Malone perfume and cosmetic boutiques would be joining the Eraman Duty Free Emporium at Contact Pier, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in the near future.
