Award winning township developer, LBS Bina Group Berhad (LBS) received back-to-back recognition at two separate award platforms recently. LBS was honoured at the IPAX Asia Pacific Awards 2018 for its BSP21 and Midhills developments, and The BrandLaureate BestBrands Award 2018 in the International Property Development category as a result of exemplary market leadership.

At the IPAX Asia Pacific Awards 2018 held in Thailand recently, LBS was the Winner of Residential High-rise Architecture for Malaysia for its BSP21 development located in its flagship BSP Township. Positioned as a lifestyle serviced residence, BSP21 stands out with 70 recreational facilities and amenities under one roof, delivering on its philosophy of having something for every member of the family. With a GDV of RM1.4 billion, LBS designed BSP21 with the young, first time home buyers and young families in mind.

At the same event, LBS was also the Winner of the Apartment for Malaysia category for its Midhills development located in Genting Highlands. The resort-style development impressed judges with its purposeful designs and well-planned facilities, balanced with lush greenery and undulating hills. The IPAX Asia Pacific Awards 2018 is an annual event that recognises best practices by leading architects, developers, interior designers and real estate professionals from around the globe. Shortlisted finalists are judged by an experienced team of professionals from a wide range of property disciplines.

Continuing the momentum, LBS picked up another recognition at the The BrandLaureate BestBrands Award 2017 - 2018 held in Kuala Lumpur recently. Awarded in the International Property Development category, LBS was acknowledged as a market leader with an international footprint. Additionally, the prestigious award also considered brands who consistently demonstrated the ability to thrive amidst challenging market conditions and met the needs of its consumers with quality products and services, all while maintaining good social and business conduct. The award serves as a nod to LBS' efforts in the local property development industry as well as its extended dealings in China through, the management of the Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC). Going a step further, Tan Sri Lim Hock San's footprint in the international arena also includes his contributions towards enhancing bilateral ties with China through his position as the President of the Malaysia-Guang Dong Chamber of Investment Promotion (MGCIP).

The BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards 2017-2018 is an initiative by Asia Pacific Brand Foundation (APBF), honouring outstanding achievements in branding amongst multinationals, transnational corporations, large corporations, public-listed companies and government-linked companies in Malaysia. The APBF was founded in 2005 with a vision to promote the culture of brand excellence amongst organisations and the business community.
