Property Hunter will hold the first Property Hunter Convention at Sutera Harbour Resort on 5-6 May 2018.

The convention will feature talks for the new investors on the Apprentice Stage and for more seasoned property players the Master Stage. Both stages will feature renown speakers who are experts in their fields and with some serious knowledge to share. For industry players, the Industry Stage will highlight topics that will be useful to the drivers of the industry like developers and estate agents. Other features of the convention include Night Crawl, Agent and Developer Match-Making, Lunch and Learn and Speed Date to match buyers and sellers.

Property Hunter will be bringing more than 20 talks to enrich the audience. Below is the batch of speakers and respective topics we would like to announce to go along with the already amazing existing line-up, with more to be announced soon:

Stanley Chong is the Director of City Planning Department, Kota Kinabalu City Hall. He is the go-to authority when talking about the city's progress and where legislations are heading. Most will also know him as an avid speaker on the issues of Airbnb or "short-term lodgings" where he represents City Hall as an intermediary between DBKK and the public. Topic: Airbnb Regulations

Kenny Wong He is a passionate interior concept designer and is the founder of Wowspace. He started his investment journey at just 22 and hopes to use his experience to bring awareness to other young people about the importance of property investment and the advantages of starting young. Ahyat Ishak He is the author of the bestseller "The Strategic Property Investor” book and program. Having started from humble beginnings, his first property investment began more than a decade ago and by the age of 30, he became a property millionaire. Jason Lee He is the partner and legal adviser of Senturia Capital Sdn Bhd, a private equity firm registered with the Securities Commission of Malaysia, which is primarily involved in private equity real estate fund and financial advisory work for property developers and contractors. Jason Poi A local boy who has spent most of his livelihood abroad. He founded 3Axis, a one stop design and build company which specialises in comprehensive building an interior design concepts, project management, construction and 3D visualisation. Topic: Value of Good Design

Sr Liaw Lam Thye He is the Principal Consultant of Taylor Hobbs Chartered Surveyors. He is a Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a fellow of Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia and a past chairman of the RISM (Sabah Branch). He is also a Licensed Assessor of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Chairman of Kota Kinabalu Symphony Orchestra and the Managing Director of Virtuoso Music School. Pamela Phui She is a Certified Brand Image Professional Consultant and HRDF Certified Trainer.
