Today marks an auspicious day for Gamuda Land as they celebrate the topping up of their maiden residential development in Kota Kinabalu, marking a milestone for the developer as construction reaches the rooftop (level 26) of the Bukit Bantayan Residences, Ebena tower. This signifies its near completion. Ebena tower is slated for completion in 2019.
When asked, Ngan said that he sees the potential growth in the property market in Sabah, with the Pan Borneo Highway and other developments coming up, adding that there are plans in the pipeline to develop more properties in Sabah.
"We will continue to have a presence in Sabah and we will look for land to develop more affordable properties for the community to enjoy," he shared.
Ngan also took the opportunity to share of the company's IBS plant in Sepang and their plans to use it to build affordable properties.
"The high cost of materials is the biggest factor when it comes to property development. With this IBS system, I believe that we can reduce the cost of property," said Ngan.
The final tower of phase one - Dilenia Tower will see its launching next month. The development consists of 27-storey housing 320 units offering five types of layout with built-ups ranging from 904 sqft to 1,100 sqft.
