Having transformed the nation's landscape with state-of-the-art infrastructure and developments for 40 years, Gamuda Berhad, under its property arm Gamuda Land has penetrated the Sabah market, joining the other big names in the development sector.
Bukit Bantayan Residences, Gamuda's maiden residential development in Sabah, has received an encouraging response since its launch in April 2017.
Speaking at a Christmas do on Saturday, 16 December, General Manager (Marketing), Simon Phang Wah said the group's idea of having conveniences such as a child care centre, tuition centre, retail shoplots and beauty saloon are meant to create an easy living lifestyle for the residents.
"As you can see, we've already reached up to level 23 for Block E (Ebena Tower) and have started working on Block C (Cemara Tower) too. Block E and C expected to be completed by 2019 and 2020 respectively," said Simon.
The 25-storey tower blocks consist of 296 units each. Each unit will come with 2 car parks and potential buyers will have 2 types of views to choose from; Likas Bay View or Mountain View.
Located at the prime destination of Inanam, Bukit Bantayan offers retreat-influenced designs nestled at a high vantage point, surrounded by beautiful mountain vistas, ocean views, and cityscapes of Kota Kinabalu.
Bukit Bantayan Residences, a unique highland retreat-inspired development, is located 12km from Kota Kinabalu city centre. Spanning over 18 acres on a hilltop, it is gifted with a breathtaking and invigorating view of its surroundings. With 1,500 apartment units and 30 shops spread across 5 apartment towers, 3 residential parcels and 1 commercial parcel, Bukit Bantayan Residences is one of the few developments to adopt the dual key concept.
The structural design of Bukit Bantayan Residences has adopted a seismic design to help it resist earthquakes. This project is possibly the first development project in Sabah to have integrated this design. The structure is said to be able to withstand a magnitude of 7 Richter scale earthquake.
Ebena Tower is targeted for completion by 2019, while Cemara Tower is slated for completion by 2020.
