The advancement in development is a legacy of the government. SHAREDA is grateful to the government for listening to their concerns and address in amicably.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of PropEX 2017 in Sabah Trade Centre yesterday, 1 October, SHAREDA's Deputy President, Datuk Sr. Chua Soon Ping expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all participants from property developers, bankers, insurance company and other related industries.

Datuk Sr. Chua also thanked Nippon Paint (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, DiGi Telecommunications, Uber, SinaLand, Azam Jaya Sdn Bhd, Sky Hotel, Property Hunter and Mega Boogie for their sponsorship contributions.

"We will try to bring in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and 3D printing technologies to PropEX 2018 as we visualise that this has become a necessity in our daily lives", said Datuk Sr. Chua.

"Today, we have supermarkets and convenience stores run by AI. Factories and marketing sectors innovatively introduce AI. Sooner or later, we will be driving robotic AI controlled vehicles in Malaysia", he added.

3D printing for buildings is in the developing progress stage. China plans to use this technology and make it available to build affordable houses. Development and building industry is a demand and market-driven industry, which cannot be sustained with one-dimensional policies or be manipulated by a single body.

In line with the constant innovation of the digital and technological advancement, SHAREDA together with is leadership had brought in young, dynamic and enthusiastic force to contribute to new ideas for this year's expo.

"We have introduced virtual reality (VR) technology for properties this year and had invited the relevant parties to participate. This was an initiative from our Vice President, Mr Wesley Chai.

Themed "Towards Livable Sabah", SHAREDA created a livable movement during the PropEX 2017 event, with road signage directing the visitors to the respective booths, a recreation park ambience, transportation system (a bike line directing visitors to the main stage) to showcase the morphosis of the positive transformation that the State will have.
