Jesselton Twin Towers, Tallest Building in Borneo, Receives Occupation Certificate

Jesselton Properties, a subsidiary of Jesselton Group, proudly announced the official issuance of the Occupation Certificate (OC) for the iconic Jesselton Twin Towers. The certificate was presented by the Mayor of Kota Kinabalu City, Datuk Seri Dr Haji Sabin Samitah, to the Executive Chairman of Jesselton Group, Tan Sri Datuk David Chu.

Despite facing challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, including disruptions to the global economy and increases in building material costs, Jesselton Properties persevered to ensure the project's continuity and timely completion.

Jesselton Twin Towers has been recognized with prestigious awards, including "The Borneo Star Award" for the "Best East Malaysia Development" at the StarProperty Awards 2019, underscoring its excellence in planning, design, and construction.



Exclusive Property Management Appointment



Jesselton Properties has appointed Knight Frank Malaysia as the exclusive property manager for Jesselton Twin Towers, ensuring top-notch management and service standards for residents.



Strategic Location and Market Response



Strategically located with easy access to key amenities and surrounded by top facilities, Jesselton Twin Towers has garnered significant interest, with nearly 80% of units already taken up, including a notable proportion by international buyers.



Future Prospects and Policy Implications



With the issuance of the OC, the handing over of keys to purchasers is slated for April 2024. Additionally, Tan Sri Datuk David Chu, also the chairman of Sabah Economic Advisory Council (SEAC), anticipates an announcement on the Sabah-Malaysia My Second Home (SBH-MM2H) policy, which is expected to further enhance Sabah's attractiveness to foreign investors.
