The Sabah Construction and Machinery Expo 2023 (SCME2023) will return this year from May 5 – 7 at Kota Kinabalu's top-of-the-line convention centre, Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC).

The SCME2023 Organising Committee paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Public Work, YB Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya to promote the Upcoming event and formally invite YB Datuk Ir Shahelmey to be the guest of honour for the launching of SCME2023 . With the theme "Green Technology, Industry 4.0," this expo will highlight a variety of industries, including specialised contractors, suppliers, designers, solution providers, consultancies, professional services, property developers, etc. It will also feature a number of fun and enlightening programmes that attendees and participants can join and explore.

The SCME2023 is a jointly organised event by the Sabah Builders Association and Impact Zone Sdn Bhd. The event is supported Jabatan Kerja Raya Sabah (JKR Sabah) and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). This 3-day expo aims to provide platforms for the built environment industries policy makers, leaders, and players to showcase, teach and learn the latest innovations in building technologies, methodologies, products, and services.
