Makeover Plus: The Makeover Guys Introduce New Service Targeted at Property Developers

As home buyers become more value conscious and demanding, property developers have been seeking a way to differentiate themselves and their offerings to better draw in buyers.

Makeover Plus has already contributed in amplifying interest in a development project. Earlier this year, the leading property developer Sime Darby Property launched Maya Ara Residences - a high-rise property in Ara Damansara - with Makeover Plus complementing to what was already a strong core value proposition of design, location and price point.  This solid combination of value propositions saw the project successfully surpassed the original registration target by 39%, with a marked increase in buyers opting for the package instead of just the standard units. This demonstrates the viability of Makeover Plus as an innovative and unique offering that provides more value to truly completing one’s home.



Adding Value for Homeowners 



While developers are the main target audience, Makeover Plus holds immense benefits for homeowners as well, offering substantial cost and time savings. 



Through the service, users will be able to personalise their up-and-coming property. First selecting from fully-furnished or partially-furnished makeovers. Then choosing from a list of specially curated themes before adding more options to complete their unit. 



In addition to the thematic choices, every Makeover Plus plan comes with essential fixtures so each unit will come prepackaged with lighting fixtures, curtains, fans and air-conditioning. Units will also be furniture-complete where users can browse the platform to fit each room with designer furniture from established and trusted brands such as Crownlivin, Hooga, SSF, Dyson, and more. 



Property purchasers are able to utilise Makeover Plus by opting into packages that offer up to RM40,000 in credits to utilise on various customisations and fittings within the Makeover Plus ecosystem.
