Sabah State Library Announces Opening of New Section at KKIA & It's Now Opened to the Public

The Sabah State Library has now opened a new library section at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) called Library@KKIA.


The opening was announced by the State Library on their website and social media pages, Facebook and Instagram.

This will be the first library section opened at the airport and will provide passengers with a quiet space to read, study or conduct research.



It also has a ‘Kids Zone’ featuring a table and chairs for children to enjoy and learn from the library’s collection.

The new library section is located in the departure hall level building on the fifth floor. It is open from 9am until 6pm daily including public holidays.



Library@KKIA is also delighted to announce that it will be offering free membership to the public throughout its first-month opening.



The opening of the Sabah State Library at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport marks another milestone in the State’s commitment to providing access to books and reading opportunities to all Sabahan residents, regardless of where they live or what language they speak.
