Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd’s wholly-owned subordinate SCIB Properties Sdn Bhd has bagged an approximate amount of RM120 million agreement to construct high-rise housing units inside Sering district in Kota Bharu, Kelantan under the PR1MA Corp Malaysia affordable homes programme.
The construction of the project is expected to be commenced between June 2021 to August 2023, said Sarawak Consolidated. Continuing, it said, “The formal agreement for the above-mentioned contract shall be executed in due course.”
As stated by Sarawak Consolidated, the project includes the scheduled construction of two 21-storey apartment blocks with 316 housing units each. Sarawak Consolidated said that the project also involves the construction of a multi-purpose hall and surau, a nursery and kindergarten facility, a guardhouse and four-and-a-half storey car park.
The estimated RM120 million contract worth factor out the multi-purpose hall and surau, nursery and kindergarten facility, guardhouse and fundamental work, according to Sarawak Consolidated.
