Visas (MM2H) Temporarily Frozen for Foreigners

The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) has been temporarily frozen according to the Minister of the Tourism, Arts and Culture ministry (MOTAC), Nancy Shukri.

She said that the federal government is in the process of reviewing “all activities and processes involved in the approvals for the programme” in order to review and improve the terms of MM2H.

It is reported that the centre of MM2H may be closed “until further notice” and that 90% of applications for the programme were rejected. Shukri claimed that during the movement control order (MCO) a lot was discovered that could be improved.
