Association of Property and Facility Managers (APFM) Singapore president Dr Lim Lan Yuan finds that property management practices in Malaysia are good overall, although weak in certain areas.

"From my observation over the past three years, as one of the judges of EdgeProp Malaysia's Best Managed Property Awards, I do think Malaysia's property management is good," said Lim during his presentation titled "How does Malaysia score in Property Management?" at the EdgeProp.my Symposium on Excellent Property Management 2019 on 27 April.

However, Lim observed that property management in Malaysia could do better in financial control and management as well as compliance with laws and regulations.
