Star Residences, celebrated the project's topping up ceremony on its 58th floor, giving invited stakeholders a sneak peek into the stunning views that it affords.

Star Residences is part of Star Development project of a mixed development of residential and retail units comprising Star Residences, a 57-storey tower and two 58-storey towers, including the Ascott Star KLCC Kuala Lumpur, and Star Boulevard, Star Walk of Fame, five blocks of six-storey units for retail, food and beverage, and entertainment.

The four-acre (1.62 ha) development is located on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng in the KLCC Central Business District of Kuala Lumpur with a gross development value of RM3 billion.

The developer of Star Development, Alpine Return Sdn Bhd is a 50:50 joint venture company between established Malaysian property developers, Symphony Life Bhd (previously known as Bolton Bhd) and United Malayan Land Bhd (UM Land).

Construction began end of 2014, and will be completed end of 2019. The Star Residences Tower 1 is 100% sold, Star Residences Tower 2 is 90% for, and our last and most premium tower was Ascott Star, just launched a few months ago.

Star Residences has bagged several international awards namely, International Property Awards, London for Best Apartment Design, Best Mixed-Use Architecture Design and Mixed-Use Development Concept; and Malaysia's BrandLaureate Best Brand Award, in Signature Brand Property Luxury Condominium category.

The construction main partner in this luxury development is Samsung C&T, Korea's leading company in various global businesses including construction business, global trading and project organizing, fashion business, and a world-class resort & leisure business.

The topping-up ceremony was attended by Tan Sri Azman Yahya, Chairman of Alpine Return Sdn Bhd, Dato' Ng Eng Tee, Executive Deputy Chairman of United Malayan Land Bhd, Dennis Ng, Group Managing Director of United Malayan Land Bhd, Alan Koh, CEO, Alpine Return Sdn Bhd, John Chang, Executive Vice President, Samsung C&T and Ahmad Abdelrazaq, Executive Vice President, Samsung C&T.

According to Tan Sri Azman Yahya, Chairman of Alpine Return Sdn Bhd, the overall Star Development project has taken shape on schedule within the construction timeline, with an exemplary safety record.
