PUTRAJAYA: The Sales and Services Tax (SST) will be reintroduced in September, says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
He was speaking at a press briefing after a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
The Goods and Services Tax will be zero-rated from June 1, and the SST reintroduced to make up for the shortfall in government revenue.
However, it will require legislation to be enacted in Parliament. Reported by The Star.
