Raya Fun Run at Bandar Rimbayu

It was a day full of fun, friendship and sportsmanship at Bandar Rimbayu's Run With Me. The fun run saw 2000 runners from all walks of life getting into the spirit of togetherness, with friends and family by their side as they ran, walked, danced and sashayed to the finish line.

Held for the third time, the 10km run was flagged off at 6.30am at The ARC, Bandar Rimbayu's show gallery. The Aloha-thon themed run once again focused on the laid-back feel of previous runs, with speed, timing and competition taking a backseat. With positive vibes, good times and camaraderie taking first place, runners embraced the chilled out Hawaiian concept, taking breaks to enjoy watermelon and banana in two stations along the route and quenching their thirst with fruits and coconut drinks after completing the run. The fun on the road was not limited to lively cheerleaders encouraging participants to reach the finishing line or the bonding between runners with their family members and new friends. Excited runners also took the opportunity to win cash prizes by grabbing themed items from Run With Me volunteers during the course of the run. The first 50 groups consisting of all four family members at the finish line were rewarded with a cash prize of RM200 per group, with a total of RM10,000 given away.

With Run With Me joining in the list of must-go running events in the country since 2015, many fans of the run continue to be a part of the event, this time bringing more friends and family with them. "For this year's run, we have seen many repeat runners who have joined in our #runwithme events since the beginning.

We are happy that we have so many runners who come back every year to have a glimpse of Bandar Rimbayu's progress while enjoying themselves in their own way, even creating new friendships along the way” said Susan Teh, Sales and Marketing Senior Manager at Bandar Rimbayu.

Every participant was presented with a complimentary PUMA t-shirt and a goodie bag with a pair of PUMA socks, Munchy's Oat Crunch samples, Sensodyne toothpaste, Scott's DHA Gummies and beauty items from FACESHOP. Runners also took home a unique finishing medal that represented this year's Aloha theme, a symbol for fun, friendship and togetherness. Participants also had the chance to visit the Livia Type A showroom and find out more about Livia Type B homes - which are now open for unit-selection, after the public's overwhelming response to Livia Type A homes.
