Assemblyman of Demak Laut, Dr Hazland Abang Hipni, has announced that developments in the constituency will go on, despite the CMCO.
Dr Hazland said the developments done for the constituency are a reflection of the state government’s concern for the welfare of the people in wanting them to have the best infrastructure.
This includes the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP), Minor Rural Project (MRP) and Sarawak Poor People’s Housing Project (PPRMS).
“All these are initiatives of the Sarawak government under the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) for the people.
“Despite the current outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have no choice but to continue the development projects.
“However, compliance with the SOPs is very important to prevent the spread of Covid-19, prevent new clusters from emerging in workplaces,” he said.
