Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (SHAREDA) thanked the State Government’s decision to allow the re-commencement of construction and maintenance sectors including its relevant industry chain/network to begin operation effective from 8th May 2020.

"The spillover effect from the real estate and construction sectors would benefit the 160 related industries and subsequently boost the State’s economy." Said SHAREDA President, Datuk Chew Sang Hai.

"Furthermore, SHAREDA members would give full cooperation to Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) and comply with the Standard Operating Procedures on-site."

"In order to boost the public’s confidence that all construction and maintenance sectors are taking major steps to ensure the safety of all its staff, workers and sub-contractors at these sites, SHAREDA is prepared to be a stakeholder in assisting the Government to further enhance the health and safety protocols of the said sectors to contain the spread of COVID-19."
