Why Tourists Are Visiting the Menggatal and Inanam Area of Kota Kinabalu

Tourism is a leading industry in Sabah, bringing in almost 4 million tourists in 2019 alone. Known as “the land below the wind”, Sabah is a travellers hotspot for its natural tropical beauty and just a few minutes drive from the city centre is the Menggatal and Inanam area where there is more than meets the eye.

Taste the flavours of each group, play traditional games and experience local cultures in just half a day! This one is a Sabah must-see.

2. Le’ One Kokol Elf

We no longer have to travel all the way to Bali for this famous swing picture opportunity! Le' One Kokol Elf is not only a haven for Instagrammers, but it's a unique way to experience Sabah's gorgeous sunsets. Apart from the swing, Le' One Kokol Elf is a playground of picturesque hang out spots.

3. Kiansom Park

This Inanam location has been famously dubbed as Kota Kinabalu’s “waterfall park” for it’s 7 cascading waterfalls. It has become a favourite picnic spot for local friends and families and is the perfect nearby getaway to get out of the city and to be one with nature.
