A Hallmark of Achievement for Sabah Real Estate Industry

Kota Kinabalu’s most elite real estate industry players were celebrated and awarded last night at the Property Hunter Real Estate Awards (PHREA) 2019.

The event was held at the Kota Kinabalu Marriott Hotel, a contemporary haven in Sabah’s capital city centre, overlooking stunning sunset views. The award-winning establishment suited the prestigious occasion perfectly with its bold and sophisticated features.

Two hundred guests attended Property Hunter’s much-anticipated event and were delighted by a live band and modern dance performances throughout the night. While mingling in the foyer, guests dressed in formal glam redeemed party gifts and captured the moment using an in-house photo booth.

As the most established property media network in East Malaysia, Property Hunter initiated PHREA to be the most sought after and coveted recognition for the real estate industry in the region. Only the most deserving developments or personalities were awarded recognition.

More Than Just a Trophy

PHREA sets itself apart from other awards by priding itself for:

  • Ensuring the awards cannot be obtained through financial means

  • Celebrating the commitment and excellence work of industry players

  • Providing a platform for branding and value creation

Unlike other awards where participants may pay to win, PHREA is free to enter and winners are selected by a carefully curated panel of judges. This ensures fairness and transparency.

Participants benefit from the awards in many ways, even just as a nominee. As well as having the exclusivity of using the Property Hunter Real Estate Awards official “Nominee” logo, participants also benefit from the publicity and PR opportunities to spread the word about their project.

Furthermore, winners of the awards will have the opportunity to promote their projects and brands during a winner-only interview and promotional video during the gala dinner last night.

PHREA expects to raise the standard for quality and innovation in the industry by fairly awarding the foremost key projects and developers in Sabah. All votes were collected and verified by the independent auditor, Baker Tilly CKF, ranked among the largest accounting and business advisory firms in Malaysia.

Congratulations to the winners!
