Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (Sheda) Kuching branch is holding its 2nd Home & Property Roadshow 2019 from November 1-3 at ground floor, Vivacity Megamall from 10am to 10pm daily.

Organising chairman Alan Wong said during the roadshow, visitors get to meet face-to-face with property developers throughout Malaysia, who will be showcasing their projects.

There will be booths put up by developers, real estate agents and other property related trades, bringing in the best property offers for home owners or investors. Potential house buyers can also expect special promotions and offers during the three-day roadshow.

This is also the last roadshow of the year to feature the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2019 where home buyers who buy HOC registered projects can enjoy at least 10 per cent discount on the price of homes and stamp duty waivers on the instrument of transfer and loan agreement.

“Visitors will also be able to find offers such as a double storey terrace starting at RM376,000 or even purchase homes that come with free appliances on top of special discounted prices. Potential buyers who buy from any of our booths at a minimum amount of RM1,000 will be entitled to our ‘Buy & Win Lucky Draw’ with access to special prizes,” Wong told a press conference at Sheda office here yesterday.

Another exciting activity highlighted in this roadshow is the ‘Next Big Chef (NBC)’ which is usually held annually by UCSI University for its students in collaboration with Sheda Kuching branch.

To be held on November 2 at 2pm, teams of developers will be competing against each other to be the Next Big Chef in Developer Challenge. Visitors are encouraged to witness the fun battle and be a part of voting for their favourite chef.

‘Bestari’ will be offering free food sampling from 10am until after the results of NBC are announced.

Wong thanked all the sponsors of the Next Big Chef Developer Challenge which include Bestari, Kow Kow, CCK, Lam Soon and Tamago. He also dedicated special thanks to UCSI University and Sendayan Group for co-organising this challenge.

“In the afternoon, the more adventurous visitors can choose to challenge their palate by joining our ‘Spicy Challenge’ at 3pm. Contestants will be trying out the main sponsor Seoul Garden’s latest menu – ‘Soon Du Bu’ or Soft Tofu Stew. The stew originally has three levels of spiciness but for the challenge, there will be only one level of spiciness and the contestant who can either finish the whole bowl or is the fastest to finish will walk away with RM500 in cash and cash vouchers. Second and third place winners will also take home cash and cash vouchers,” Wong said.
