Homebuyers in Sabah can now save even more as the Sabah Law Society participates in the Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) 2019 by offering a discount on their legal fees.

HOC 2019 is an initiative by The Honorable Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Minister of Finance to promote homeownership in Malaysia for a limited time. Due to an outstanding response, the campaign has just been extended for another six months until December 31st 2019.

On top of the generous property incentives, buyers can now save up to 25% on legal fees from lawyers practising in Sabah.  This is a rare occasion as legal fees charged by lawyers are governed by the Advocates Ordinance here in Sabah. Although the extent of the discount is at the discretion of the respective lawyers, it is no doubt a good news for homebuyers in reducing the cost of a property transaction. 

Meanwhile,  Sabah Organising Chairperson of Malaysia Home Ownership Campaign 2019, Mr Benny Ng Su Pei, has expressed his gratitude to those participating in the campaign.
