Lowering the ticket fare is among the Government’s aims in reviewing better terms for the Johor Baru-Singapore Rapid Transit System Link (RTS) project.
Transport Minister, Anthony Loke, told the Dewan Rakyat on 16 July 2019 that the agreement with the previous government recommended a one-way fare of RM15.
"The agreement also states that neither Malaysia nor Singapore has authority over the fare, (but) we feel it is high and won’t attract passengers," he said.
