Assistant Minister of Local Government & Housing, Mr. George Hiew would like to thank SHAREDA as well as other NGOs for their support and donations.

Along with SHAREDA's donation of RM10,000, Sabah social welfare has donated 50 zinc roofs and local leading developer, WMG group has donated 1000 zinc roofs to the victims of the fire.

All funds donated will be handed over to the residents and used for materials to rebuild the homes, according to Hiew. Materials needed include plywood for the walls and flooring. A bridge for the village has since been completed.

Currently they are waiting for Local City Hall to prepare the plan for the village so it will look much better, be safer and be more organized.
