Exhibition goers will be able to get their credit scores checked for free at PropEX 2018 property exhibition by visiting Remajaya Sdn Bhd's booth. This is part of the developer's new system to increase efficiency, reduce the hassle for property buyers and a chance to go green.

Datuk Sr Chua Soon Ping, Group Managing Director of Remajaya said that these new initiatives goes in-line with PropEX 2018's theme of "Smart Green State" and is part of the developer of Bay 21 and Bay Suite's efforts to introduce new and creative ways to market property effectively to buyers.

"We have invested in a system where buyers can not only check their credit score but do the entire booking process online," says Datuk Chua. The system in question is the MHub system that will enable property agents, developers, buyers and bankers to be connected in a network and save time on tedious tasks like checking loan eligibility. Remajaya will be the first property developer in Sabah to make use of such solutions and Datuk Chua is hoping that if it is successful, other developers will follow suit. "We will be the test subjects, we will see if it works or not," Datuk Chua said, adding that they are always looking to be at the forefront of new and innovative solutions.

Remajaya will also be going paperless at PropEX 2018 with the introduction of e-brochures for their upcoming project Bay Suites. All sales staff will be equipped with a digital format of the brochure at the booth says Datuk Chua, adding that typically a lot of paper is used at exhibitions and plenty of brochures end up in the bin. To counteract that, paper brochures will only be printed upon a special request.

Datuk Chua commented that there is need for diversification and a willingness to explore other avenues to market products. The Bay Suites condominium development, according to Datuk Chua, is an example of this diversification where a property is built with tourism in mind as certain floors have been allocated for short-term rental. This allows the development plan to be in accordance to fire department specifications and not simply a residential property used for commercial purposes.
