Grand Merdeka will be hosting its very own Sunday Bazaar with open-air stalls offering various kinds of products by local vendors. The first event will be held on 14th October and will continue to be held on all consecutive Sundays. Starting as early as 6am until 1pm, it should give ample time for the public to come and visit all available stalls.

The Sunday Bazaar will be specifically located outside Grand Merdeka Mall on the deck area and is easily accessible by car and convenient for pedestrians. It will be impossible to miss as it will be right by the Koi Fish Roundabout. Visitors and customers will find a wide variety of mouth-watering delicacies such as snacks, cakes and meals, making this a perfect place for Sunday breakfast. Residents from nearby Taman Rimba, Bandar Sierra and Tebobon areas will benefit due to the close proximity.

One of the main highlights should be the famous charcoal-grilled chicken wings that will be open for business at the bazaar. On top of that, everything will be sold at a very affordable price. With the bazaar being held at Grand Merdeka Mall, visitors and customers can extend their food hunting inside the mall after they are done visiting the stalls of the Sunday Bazaar.

For those wishing to attend the bazaar from Kota Kinabalu city, Likas or Tuaran, it is less than a 30-minutes' drive away. Public buses are also available along Jalan Tuaran that passes by Grand Merdeka Mall. As Grand Merdeka Mall is a famous landmark within the Tebobon-Telipok area, it allows for ride-hailing service like Grab to easily get you there as well.
